Senior Solution Consultant
About the role
This role will be part of the global e-invoicing solutions team. The team is part of the Thomson Reuters (TR) commercial organization and provides support to the sales and partner teams in developing opportunities through to close.
Responsibilities
Success in this position will build on excellent communication, industry knowledge, presentation, and demonstration skills that reinforce our domain expertise and, in doing so, showcases the business benefits and value of the Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Pagero solutions. Experience and understanding of leading ERPs, workflow, cloud SaaS, Purchase to Pay, Orders to Cash and invoice financing solutions and processes is a necessity.
Key responsibilities:
1. Fully understand Thomson Reuters sales processes in order to support our sales activities.
2. Working closely with sales and partner staff in support of generating new business revenues.
3. Qualification of opportunities by understanding the business challenges at prospect organizations and the functional and technical fit of our offerings.
4. Use knowledge of the ONESOURCE Pagero e-invoice services and the e-invoice industry to complete discovery and build business cases. This includes the ever-increasing country mandates across regions and includes ViDA in the EU.
5. Showcase (demo/presentation) the solution and benefits we would provide to potential customers.
6. Answer functional questions related to Pagero’s products in Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
7. Build out and enhance our RFP repository.
8. Build and maintain core knowledge in ONESOURCE Pagero’s industry solutions.
9. Collect feedback from sales opportunities and clients to assist Pagero’s product development organization to continue to develop appropriate services.
10. Act as a technical, business process resource for the sales, partner teams as well as sales other solutions staff.
11. Develop training materials for Solutions, sales, partners and other departments.
Job requirements
To access the tools needed to efficiently manage data in the Pagero Online demo accounts the Pagero driving license is needed. It is assumed that local requirements to access Pagero Online have been met. A senior in the team is likely to have been a solutions/technical consultant for 10+ years as well as having general SaaS presales and/or industry experience and will have shown an aptitude in sharing information/training/mentoring others in the team. Experience of the European e-invoice landscape and processes will be necessary with Pagero or a recognized service provider. Knowledge beyond the basics, AP automation, workflow, ERP’s and financing of invoice transactions would be expected. Pagero will provide additional training for the Pagero online and the ONESOURCE specific toolkit.
About you
1. Degree.
2. 7+ years pre-sales or equivalent experience with SaaS B2B/P2P/OTC.
3. Technical/process background.
4. Fluent in speaking, reading and writing in French and English.
5. Excellent understanding of the Purchase-to-pay and the Orders-to-cash process.
6. Client facing experience.
7. A strong understanding of connectivity and e-invoicing data formats.
8. Strong knowledge of Pagero Online or another industry recognized service provider.
9. Knowledge of EU (regional) country mandates including ViDA.
Preferred qualifications
1. Previous experience of working with a European e-invoice provider.
2. Knowledge of working with ERP systems.
3. LatAm e-invoice compliance.

The position can be remote or hybrid depending on the location of the person employed. Staff living within 40km of a Thomson Reuters office will be expected to be hybrid.
