LORIOT is an innovative and growing company looking for a QA Engineer to expand our Testing and Quality Assurance team. We seek a highly motivated candidate with a passion for Internet Of Things technologies and who can actively contribute to the development and enhancement of our core products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct ad-hoc testing with real IoT hardware.
2. Understand customers' workflows and complex data stream scenarios.
3. Investigate and reproduce issues reported by customers.
4. Proactively report functional bugs or potential security threats.
5. Contribute to the development of an IoT network simulator.
6. Contribute to the product with new ideas to improve customer experience.
7. Implement API automated tests.
8. Implement frontend automated tests.
9. Act as a bridge between the engineering team and the product team.
10. Understand technical specifications of hardware and communication protocols.
11. Contribute to the company knowledge base by writing technical documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. Passion for Internet Of Things, LPWAN technologies, and embedded systems.
3. Full proficiency with Linux command line.
4. Good knowledge of Git.
5. Agile development methods & tools (JIRA).
6. Critical thinking.
7. Fluent in English.
Other Desirable Qualifications:
1. Experience in test plan creation, automation, and quality processes.
2. Experience in working on large-scale SaaS products.
3. Good knowledge of technologies such as Typescript, Node JS, Mongo DB, Redis, Docker.
4. Good understanding of communication protocols such as MQTT, Web Socket, HTTP.
5. Experience with testing tools like Postman, Selenium, Mocha.
6. Microcontrollers programming.
