German-Speaking Account Manager
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven German-speaking Account Manager to join our talented team in Barcelona.
About the Role
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships with Google and other clients. Your primary goal will be to ensure that client expectations are met, projects are delivered on time and within budget, and long-lasting relationships are maintained.
Main Responsibilities
* Client Relationship Management:
o Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with key client contacts.
o Act as the main liaison between the client and internal teams, effectively managing communication and expectations.
o Understand the client's goals, challenges, and objectives to ensure tailored solutions are delivered.
* Project Management:
o Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
o Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
o Work with internal teams to create project timelines, track milestones, and ensure that all key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
* Strategic Consultation:
o Provide strategic advice and recommendations to clients based on in-depth knowledge of their industry, market trends, and the latest digital solutions.
o Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities that align with the client's needs, and work closely with internal teams to implement these opportunities.
o Regularly review account performance and provide insights to help clients optimize their strategies and meet their business objectives.
* Team Collaboration:
o Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Technical teams, to deliver the best possible solutions to clients.
o Act as a mentor to junior team members, helping them grow and develop their skills.
* Client Reporting & Analysis:
o Monitor and report on the performance of client accounts, ensuring that all metrics are being tracked and reported accurately.
o Provide regular updates to clients, including monthly/quarterly reports and performance reviews.
o Analyze data and use insights to improve the performance of client campaigns and strategies.
* Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution:
o Take ownership of any issues that arise with clients and proactively resolve conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
o Act as a problem solver and find solutions that benefit both the client and the company.
Requirements
* Fluency in German: Essential (native or near-native proficiency).
* Bachelor's Degree: In Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
* Experience working with Google: A significant advantage.
* Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
* Proactive problem-solving skills: Ability to take initiative and thrive in a client-facing role.
* Fluent in English: As it is the company's primary business language.
