This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Global Content Designer/Copywriter in Madrid with Signify.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing for B2C technology products and be native in English. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can develop and execute content strategies that enhance the user experience and drive engagement in our websites and digital activity.
You will be responsible for all the ways in which we talk to potential customers to power users, making them feel confident and comfortable when interacting with our Consumer brands: Philips Hue, Wiz, and Philips Lighting.
From something as small as a button label to as big as a website landing page, flawless copy that is optimized for SEO will be your thing. At Signify, we believe this goes far beyond copywriting — that’s why you’ll be a Content Designer.

Your role:
* Craft the words for all our touchpoints. This includes all our digital channels (website and app, social media, emails, campaigns, and more).
* Follow the defined tone of voice – your deliverables should be uniform and universal, so they're always correct and usable for everybody in the company. You’ll be more than a writer — you’re a gatekeeper for the way we talk about our Consumer brands.
* Make the user experience intuitive, easy, and fun with copy that's short, sharp, and on point so that all our users can be confident and comfortable when using our products.
* Help define the on-site communication strategy, including flows, sitemapping, and content management. You will work closely with the SEO team in doing so.
* Create and optimize product copy, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and aligned with brand voice and optimized for SEO.
* Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, SEO, and other digital marketing experts to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.

* English native speaker – our global copy is written in US English and is translated to many languages.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
* 3+ years of proven experience of copywriting within a UI/UX design team for functional products – not just for marketing. Preferably in a multinational environment.
* Proven experience in product copywriting and content strategy.
* Strong understanding of SEO and content marketing principles.
* Ability to analyze content performance and derive actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Proactive, creative, and organized with strong time-management skills.
* Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, content management systems, and keyword research tools.
* Experienced in working with development teams on complex projects.
