Position description
Canadian Solar Power Electronics Business Unit (PEBU) is a fast growing business segment within CSI group. We are now expanding our organization in EMEA region.
This position is engineer of Technical Support Power Electronics,reporting directly to the EMEA manager of product center in Europe. Covering both pre-sales and after-sales activities in the assigned countries/ regions.
In this role, you will the key person to support the sales colleagues in the region with directly involved in customer visit, training, and service related activities.
As part of the product center, you will also required to work closely with product management team, R&D team in China, to understand our product and deliver best class service to customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support sales to give technical presentations about our product and solutions. Including but not limited to customer visits, webinars, workshops and trade shows.
* Answer customer inquiries, submitting technical materials.
* Remote support or site visit to help customer commissioning, trouble shooting for installation issues.
* Collect customer feedback and product issues, summary and report to mangers at regular basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or comparable;
* 2-3 years of experience in the PV/Renewable Energy industry;
* Relevant prior experience in field service, technical support, system design, ideally in the energy storage and/or inverter sector.
* Valid driver license required.
* Willingness and ability to travel.
* Willingness to take challenging tasks and work under high pressure.
