The Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies Group is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to develop his / her project to work in 3D bioprinted scaffolds for bone regeneration.
Research in the Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapies group is devoted to the development and knowledge transfer to industry of innovative biomaterials and scaffolds for tissue regeneration.Main tasks and responsibilities :Synthesis and characterization of 3D bioprinted scaffolds involving extracellular matrix and hydrogel based bioinks.Designing and executing the in vitro experimental procedures regarding the projects of the group:Involving materials characterization of the structure and degradation.Involving application of the proper signaling and monitoring of adhesion, proliferation, differentiation and Extracellular Matrix remodeling.Requirements for candidates :PhD in nanotechnology, bioengineering, biotechnology or related fields.Experience in biomaterials synthesis and biological characterization.Experience in 3D printing and bioprinting is highly valuable.High motivation and ability to be involved in an international multidisciplinary team.Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork, Proactivity, Commitment, Collegiality, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.High level of English.We Offer :Number of available positions: 1.Working conditions:Full-time temporary contract with a competitive salary.Measures to reconcile work and family life (maternity and paternity leave, flexible working hours, teleworking, 23 working days of paid holidays, 9 leave days for personal matters, among others).Professional development opportunities: IBEC has a training catalogue in technical and transferable skills and organizes seminars and PhD discussions.
