We are looking for an experienced Tester with a strong background in test automation, specifically using Java and Selenium. This role involves working on projects for an European Institutions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
🤖 Responsabilities and Requirements:
* Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium to streamline and enhance the software testing process.
* Conduct automated and manual tests to identify bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities, providing detailed reports on findings.
* Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define test cases, review requirements, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
* Identify, log, and track defects in collaboration with development teams, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
* Optimize test frameworks, improve test strategies, and stay updated with the latest trends in test automation.
* Ensure all testing activities align with industry best practices and meet the European Commission’s standards.
* Fluent in English and European Nationality is required
🛠️ Technical Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in software testing (test automation & manual testing).
* Expertise in Automation Testing with Java and Selenium with the ability to create and execute robust test scripts.
* Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, performance, and security testing).
* Experience in test management toolls like JIRA, TestRail
* Ability to write clear and structured test documentation.
➕ Plus:
* Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI and API Testing, like Postman
