Role Description
We are seeking a A.I. Sales Engineer to join our young and motivated team and drive the adoption of our Innovative A.I. Solution, designed to make industrial production processes more energy and operational efficient.
This role is pivotal for BeChained's European expansion: based in Barcelona (Spain), it will then create synergies with the US markets.

Minimum qualifications:
* BS or MSc in a relevant engineering field and/or data science.
* +3 years of experience in complex technology or consulting projects, selling Cloud-based and AI solution for production plant.
* Team orientation and ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
* Ability to present to senior executive management and large audiences.
* B2B experience and listening to the client is a MUST HAVE.
* Strong communication skills. Technical background and ability to understand/explain complex technical information.
* Collaborate with AI Operation team.
* Proficiency in English and other European languages (i.e. Spanish, German, French) is a requirement.
* Work permit for Spain and to travel across the EU.
Preferred qualifications:
* Domain background in A.I. and Cloud-based solutions for manufacturing preferred
* Strong consideration to candidates in industries (eg. metal & steel, food & beverage, paper...)
* Preferably with experience selling to industrial manufacturing. A plus having of e.g., water management, exhaust/dust extraction, air compressors, grinders, thermal processes knowledge.
* Collaborate with AI Operation team.
* Proven track record in B2B sales and customer relationship management.
* Ability to educate and advise clients.
* Autonomy in decision making.
Nice to have:
* Technology native, envisioning where A.I. goes in a few years within industry.
* Familiarity with the policy environment and key stakeholders of the industrial sector.
* Knowledge of the energy (i.e. day-ahead, same day, demand-response) and carbon markets is a plus.
Responsibilities:
* Reporting to the CEO, she/he will be prospecting, building and maintaining a customer pipeline in the CRM. Ensure regular updates and weekly KPI reports.
* Engage directly with customers: LISTEN to identify needs, concerns, and areas of opportunity.
* Build and present technical proposals and associated economic proposals.
* Establish and nurture customer relationships. Demonstrate relationship acumen and empathy with customers. Build a value added solution.
* Participate in industry trade fairs. Keep up to date with energy and industry trends.
