Join our team to lead and manage all aspects of bank account management and payment operations across our group's entities. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless, efficient, and compliant treasury operations. You will collaborate closely with our dedicated team, external BPO, and banking partners to optimize bank costs, guarantee smooth payment execution, and maintain the integrity of our bank account records.
Main Responsibilities
Bank Account Management
* Manage opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts across multiple jurisdictions, including KYC documentation updates.
* Maintain bank master data and update treasury management systems (TMS) with relevant documentation.
* Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies for account management.
* Liaise with banking partners to negotiate terms, review account conditions, and minimize banking costs.
* Implement best practices for bank relationship management to optimize services and fees.
* Create and maintain e-banking access as per internal governance.
Payments & Treasury Operations
* Oversee the execution of all group payments, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and payment calendars.
* Process treasury payments, including intercompany transfers, MM Deposits, loan settlements, FX transactions, and agency fees.
* Supervise third-party, payroll, and tax payments, ensuring timely execution.
* Monitor and execute foreign exchange (FX) transactions, ensuring timely funding for payments in foreign currencies.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payment workflows and compliance.
BPO Management & Process Oversight
* Act as the primary liaison between the company and the BPO for day-to-day treasury operations.
* Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
* Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
* Monitor the BPO’s performance in reconciliations, payment processing, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness providing support when necessary.
Reporting & Compliance
* Prepare monthly treasury reports for financial closing.
* Ensure timely delivery of audit support documentation for both internal and external audits.
* Maintain compliance with SOX, IFRS, and other relevant financial controls.
* Track and report key treasury metrics, such as payment volumes, cost optimization, and processing times.
Banking Technology & Process Improvements
* Work closely with IT and external providers to enhance Treasury Management System (TMS) or SAP functionalities.
* Support automation initiatives for payment workflows.
* Stay updated on market trends in digital banking, fraud prevention, and payment innovations.
Relevant Experience:
* 3-5 years of experience in a Treasury or AP function in an international environment.
* Experience in variety of payment methods, understanding of the file format structures (SWIFT MT, ISO 20022 XML, etc.) to identify issues arising from rejected batches.
* Hands-on experience with payment routing, SWIFT connectivity, ACK and PSR responses and correspondent banking networks.
Other relevant Skills or Characteristic
* Relevant experience in TMS systems (Kyriba, SAP TR, XRT, FIS, etc…).
* Familiarized with FX dealing platforms (360T, FXAll, etc…) and settlement execution.
* Experience managing BAM for multiple entities across different jurisdictions and global banking partners and e-banking platforms.
* Extensive understanding of Working Capital instruments and impact on the Balance Sheet.
* Experience in a centralized treasury function or working with a BPO is a plus.
* Analytical & problem-solving mindset: Ability to analyze treasury data and optimize processes.
* Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in payments and bank transactions.
* Strong communication skills: Ability to interact with internal teams, external banks, and BPO partners.
* Process improvement & innovation: Drive efficiency and digitalization in treasury operations.
* Team player: Ability to work in a multinational, collaborative environment.
Education:
* University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
