Role : SAP Cutover Manager
Job Description:
Total experience : 12+ yrs experience in SAP.
* Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the cutover activities.
* Ensure that the cutover plan is followed and manage any issues or risks that arise.
* Overall ownership of the cutover plan and execution.
* Coordinate and oversee all cutover activities across teams.
* Ensure alignment between technical, functional, and business teams.
* Monitor progress and resolve issues during the cutover process.
* Communicate cutover status to stakeholders and project sponsors.
* Ensure compliance with the cutover timeline and milestones.

Key Responsibilities
Cutover Planning & Strategy:
• Develop and own the cutover strategy, aligning with business and IT stakeholders.
• Define the cutover plan, covering pre-cutover, cutover execution, and post-cutover activities.
• Ensure alignment between business functions, IT teams, and external partners for a smooth transition.
Execution & Risk Management:
• Lead cutover rehearsals, mock cutovers, and dress rehearsals to validate the plan.
• Establish a command center for cutover execution, coordinating across supply chain, finance, sales, procurement, and other key functions.
• Identify, track, and mitigate cutover risks to minimize impact on operations.
• Manage dependencies, system downtimes, and data migrations efficiently.
Stakeholder & Communication Management:
• Act as the primary point of contact for cutover-related discussions.
• Ensure all Business/ IT stakeholders are aware of the cutover plan, milestones, and potential business impacts.
• Conduct status meetings, risk assessments, and debriefing sessions post-cutover.
Post-Cutover Support & Handover:
• Facilitate a smooth transition to post-go-live support teams.
• Conduct hypercare support activities to resolve post-cutover issues.
• Document lessons learned and continuously improve cutover methodologies.
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have:
• 5-8 years of experience in cutover management, preferably in the CPG industry.
• Expertise in SAP (ECC, S/4HANA), Oracle, or other ERP system cutovers.
• Strong understanding of business processes in supply chain, finance, sales, and procurement.
• Experience with data migration, validation, and reconciliation during cutover.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight timelines.
• Experience in executing cutover rehearsals and mock go-lives.
• Strong problem-solving, risk management, and communication skills.
