Then look no further, you’ll be a great fit for The Ocean Race. We are looking for a results-oriented Digital Marketing Coordinator or Intern to join our Marketing department.
You will be an instrumental part of the team tasked with building B2C digital marketing strategies that attract, nurture and ultimately convert.
This position will be focused on the planning and execution of our digital advertising campaigns, and strategy optimization, as well as the measurement and reporting of these activities from end to end.
The role of the Digital Marketing Coordinator as part of the Marketing Department will report to the Marketing Director and will include but not be limited to the following areas:
* Conceptualize and run marketing campaigns within established KPIs.
o Ensure campaigns are adapted to all digital platforms.
o Create well-written, error-free copy.
o Develop and manage digital competitions.
o Develop and manage digital activities within the company’s digital platforms.
o Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements.
o Collaborate with graphic designers to improve the appearance layout of outputs.
o Maintain a database of customers who have opted to receive our correspondence.
o Distribute emails through the use of automation software.
o Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices.
o Provide regular monitoring and reporting of the campaign and database performance that include opens, clicks, conversions, unsubscribes, etc.
o Devise and execute A-B tests, manage testing calendar, record results, and advise on improvements.
o Ensure alignment with business priorities and internal stakeholders.
* Work closely with our Game developer to manage the success of our Online Game.
o Manage the marketing campaigns and the user interaction alongside Virtual Regatta for The Ocean Race Offshore-Game.
o Develop marketing campaigns and manage the results of the Stopover E-Cups.
o Manage the E-Sport competition of Teams.
* Manage our Metaverse.
o Manage the day-to-day operation of the Metaverse.
o Develop and run special events inside the Metaverse.
o Work closely with the Sustainability Team to integrate, promote and run sustainability activities inside the Metaverse.
The role also will provide support to any other departments of The Ocean Race requested from time to time such as hospitality, events, and operations.
Depending on the final candidate (Coordinator or Intern) the expectations of the results will be adapted.
This position will be based in Alicante, on a full-time basis and we will need immediate incorporation. The project will run until the end of 2023.
The project might have continuity depending on the long-term strategy of The Ocean Race.
Minimum requirements
* English: C1.
* Degree in marketing management, advertising, communications, or similar.
* Prior database management experience, preferably in a similar role.
* Familiarity with pertinent automation and performance evaluation software.
* Excellent project management skills specific to marketing.
* Outstanding copywriting and copyediting abilities.
* Ability to harness collaboration to produce well-crafted content.
* Willingness to work extended hours to ensure that projects are completed, as needed.
* Forward thinking, dynamic attitude.
* Comply with the values of The Ocean Race: trust, excellence & care.
* Living or able to relocate to Alicante, Spain.
* EU national or ability to, in a short period of time, acquire necessary EU working permits.
