Your role and work environment :
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Portfolio Management Expert with knowledge in data and dashboard management creation to join our Portfolio Management Team of Transformation Office.
The responsibility of this team is to accelerate ING's metabolism by challenging, inspiring & developing our organization, so it achieves its goals and strategic vision.
Your key responsibilities :
1. Positively contribute to a culture of collaboration with tribes and other CoEs: challenging the projects to ensure value creation for the client, alignment with ING’s strategy and simplicity by design both on technical and business approach.
2. Co-create, advise and drive the change in the organization via an end-to-end view on the full portfolio.
3. Ensure consistency in methodology collaborating with your colleagues across different initiatives, products and tribes, in terms of metrics and definitions.
4. Work with senior management to establish, prioritize and manage the portfolio of initiatives and provide transparency to enable decision making.
5. Translate concepts into tangible execution and know how to achieve goals in a large complex organization. A key aspect is to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and to act strategically.
6. Provide structure to the organization backlog, organize, aggregate and present the information through different dashboards and reports to give clarity and facilitate decision taking at different levels.

10. An ability to work under pressure.
11. A persistent, open and convincing way of communicating.
12. Results oriented with an ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting program challenges.
13. Be able to think in strategic terms, linking current events, business strategy and a long-term vision.
14. Be able to lead a complex portfolio, setting clear roadmaps, manage capacity and solving impediments in an agile way / obeya.
15. Have strong analytical skills and take decisions based on data and facts.
16. Have strong problem analysis and judgement skills.
17. Comprehensive understanding of multisource data modeling with detailed knowledge and understanding of database management systems and the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) framework.
18. Deep knowledge of the tools and technologies used by Microsoft SQL Server, Power Query, PowerBI, and DAX.
19. Great visualization skills and analytical thinking to transform data into stories leading to improve decision taking.
20. Be able to validate new data models that support decision-making.
21. Good knowledge of Office package, especially the ability to build and work with complex excel files to manage large amounts of data.
22. An eye for detail and an analytical way of thinking.
23. Organizationally sensitive, experience within ING is a pre or consultancy.
24. Have proven experience in complex change and operational environments including driving transformation, performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
25. Are creative and a pro-active out-of-the box thinker who likes to work in a multidisciplinary team in an agile environment.
26. Prior experience with Agile WoW organization and standards are strongly preferred.
27. An ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, particularly at senior management level.
28. The ability to persuade people and to turn resistance into cooperation.
29. Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
30. Be able to tell the story and communicate clearly (written and oral) to various international stakeholders (advanced English is required).
31. Ability to empower teams to act autonomously, think out of the box and hold them accountable.
32. Be a team player, stimulate cross-border interaction and alignment between people, Tribes, Squads, Chapters.
33. Ability to support yourself and other team members in development.
34. Support the development and craftsmanship of your team.
