PV/Wind Construction Manager

From Grafton Recruitment, we are looking for a PV/Wind Construction Manager who will contribute to the correct construction of project footprints in Europe by actively participating in the design supervision and design of large-scale renewable energy projects, solar PV, and electrical infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate in the tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) including technical requirements and contract discussions.
2. Understand project design drawings and participate in discussions with internal staff and BOP Contractors.
3. Supervise the quality of services and products provided by external suppliers.
4. Define, prepare, and control the documentation to start the construction of the renewable energy project in a timely manner.
5. Prepare technical documentation and scope for the bidding procedure for external suppliers in coordination with the procurement department.
6. Schedule project steps and works to achieve efficient, timely, and cost-effective construction of the photovoltaic plant.
7. Supervise and ensure compliance with Building Permit requirements during the construction phase.
8. Report project status, recommend solutions, and inform about potential risks to the Board.
9. Manage and supervise payment approvals and proper documentation preparation to obtain use permits according to the project plan.
10. Coordinate information flow between the Company and public institutions (e.g., Municipality, Commune, and Public Institutions) within the project scope.
11. Coordinate internal information flow within Development Team, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Tax, and HSE Quality.
12. Manage and control technical, time schedule, health and safety, and quality issues during the construction process.
13. Demonstrate negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
1. Engineering background (preferably Electrical Engineer).
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in Renewable Energy projects, primarily in PV and wind farm (Utility scale) construction.
3. Comprehensive experience in bringing RtB projects to C.O.D.
4. Experience in tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) and technical evaluation of BOP Contracts.
5. Solid Construction Management experience in renewable power plants and high voltage infrastructures.
