An esteemed company in the industrial sector is on the lookout for a Procurement Lead. This role entails leading the procurement team, ensuring the continuous availability and high quality of materials essential for production. The Procurement Lead will efficiently oversee the purchasing and supply processes. The key responsibilities of the role would be:
* Guide, supervise, and develop the procurement team, achieving set objectives and promoting a collaborative work environment.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Assist in evaluating and selecting new suppliers based on the company's needs.
* Create and manage both long-term and short-term procurement plans to ensure an uninterrupted material supply.
* Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, preventing shortages and surpluses.
* Work closely with Demand Planning, Production Planning, and Production departments to ensure efficient material flow.
* Promptly address and resolve any issues related to material supply effectively.
* Conduct regular procurement data analyses and prepare reports with recommendations for improvements.
The main requirements for the role would be:
* Education: Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
* Experience: At least 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
* Language Skills: Advanced level of English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
