The CFO will report directly to the CEO of the Spanish operations and the CFO based in Norway.This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the financial strategy and operations of the Spanish businesses, while collaborating with the broader group leadership to ensure alignment with global objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial leadership, exceptional analytical skills, and a proactive approach to driving strategic growth.Key Responsibilities:Financial Leadership: Develop and execute the financial strategy for the Spanish operations, ensuring alignment with the overall group strategy.Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the Spanish businesses, providing accurate and insightful financial reports to the CEO and Group CFO.Financial Operations: Ensure effective management of cash flow, accounts, and financial controls across the Spanish operations. Establish and maintain robust financial policies and procedures.Risk Management and Compliance: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with local legal, regulatory, and tax requirements.Group Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO in Norway to align financial strategies and reporting across the group. Provide regular updates on the financial health and performance of the Spanish operations.Capital Allocation: Oversee capital structure, funding, and long-term financial planning, optimizing investments and resources for the Spanish entities.Mergers & Acquisitions: Support financial analysis and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and integrations within the Spanish operations.Investors & Financial Entities Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for financial stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and lenders, in Spain.Key Qualifications:Minimum 5 years proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ideally within real estate or luxury retail.Strong expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.Experience reporting to a CEO and CFO and managing regional or subsidiary-level financial operations.Excellent user of accounting system.Advanced knowledge of compliance, tax, and regulatory matters specific to Spain.Experience in capital markets, investor relations, and mergers and acquisitions.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
