We are seeking a Presales Consultant specialized in Datacenter, Private Cloud, Data Protection, Storage, and High-Performance Computing (HPC). This role combines strong technical expertise with commercial skills to design tailored technology solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
Contribute to business growth by providing technology support to sales teams, analyzing and developing solutions on specific market business opportunities within a specific industry, a specific product category, an alliance or within services. Support as a pre-sales consultant in the development of technological solutions and sales and marketing support activities for specific market issues. The main objective of the position is to develop support work for sales teams, business partners and strategic alliances, to develop a technology portfolio appropriate to the market.
The presales consultant will work closely with the sales team and clients, playing a key role in identifying requirements, designing advanced solutions, and providing support throughout the sales cycle.
Key Accountabilities:
* Engage with customers and prospects during the pre-sales process to understand their technical requirements
* Supports the salesforce and leads the technical aspect of the selling process including the developing and conducting of professional product presentations and demonstrations to generate sales and meet revenue objectives
* Works closely with sales representatives that support both direct sales and reseller sales channels
* Provides overall leadership on initiatives and projects
* Builds trusted relationships with sales teams and client accounts, such that they can leverage their domain and/or business/industry expertise to increase the company’s credibility and communicate the company value proposition primarily in sales situations that advance the sales
* Carrying out tender responses, answering and expanding on functional / technical requirements within complex tender documents of potential clients
* Actively research and maintain a thorough understanding of our own products and competitor strengths and weaknesses
* Serve as a technical expert on company products and solutions, providing guidance and support to customers and prospects
* Deliver product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and other technical content
* Working with the Pre-Sales Manager and the Business Development/Launch Manager to ensure that all sales documentation and collateral is kept up to date and relevant
Responsibilities:
* Meet with clients to understand their technical needs and business objectives.
* Design comprehensive solutions that include:
* Datacenter: Infrastructure, networking, and virtualization.
* Private Cloud: Designing virtualized environments and hybrid architectures.
* Data Protection: Strategies for backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
* Storage: Scalable solutions such as SAN, NAS, and software-defined storage (SDS).
* High-Performance Computing (HPC): High-performance clusters for compute-intensive applications.
* Develop technical proposals, architectural diagrams, and presentations.
* Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) and demonstrations to validate solutions.
* Collaborate with manufacturers and technology partners to ensure feasibility of proposals.
* Stay updated on technological trends and relevant certifications.

Technical Skills:
* Advanced technical knowledge in:
* Virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and containers solutions (Kubernetes, LXC, Rancher, OpenShift)
* Private and hybrid cloud (Nutanix, VMware, Microsoft, OpenStack, Proxmox, valuable AWS, Azure).
* Storage technologies (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, Pure Storage, others).
* Data protection strategies (Veeam, Commvault, Cohesity).
* HPC and advanced computing (NVIDIA CUDA, Mellanox, SLURM clusters).
* Skills in preparing technical proposals and executive presentations.
* Desired certifications: VMware VCP, Nutanix, Veeam, Commvault, Netapp, others, or equivalents.
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Soft Skills:

Experience:
* Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in a pre-sales engineering role, specifically in the areas of networking and security.

* Ability to handle multiple client engagements simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
