It is Trading’s task to maximize value by growing and leveraging the platform. We are actively looking for top talent to join the Crude Trading Operations Team.
This team ensures seamless coordination of all commercial and operational activities related to trading and supply, ensuring that the best commercial decisions can be made and executed efficiently daily. We're hiring top talents who thrive in fast-paced environments for a dynamic role. You need to be commercially driven and have relevant experience, ideally in a similar setting.
The responsibilities we’ll trust you with
1. Assuring the operational plan gets executed by collaborating closely with logistics teams, both in marine and land operations, to identify and resolve any deviations from plan.
2. Strategize and develop contingency plans for unexpected events such as unplanned shutdowns, assessing feasibility and economic outcomes of various supply options to mitigate disruptions and minimize financial impact.
3. Utilize available platforms such as transport management systems to analyze performance data including inventory levels, customer lifting, and data quality. From this analysis, drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and maximize value.
4. Identify opportunities for enhancing ways of working, collaborating with different stakeholders and implementing improvements within your area of responsibility.
5. Champion disciplined execution and promote an end-to-end mindset among stakeholders, ensuring a focus on value delivery throughout the planning process.
6. Operate in compliance with Moeve Trading's HSEQ guidelines, and remain vigilant of customer's needs and practices, actively monitoring and addressing any concerns.
7. Foster an environment of inclusivity and diversity. Inspire a shared sense of purpose, establish well-defined objectives and limits, and offer the freedom for colleagues to excel.
What are we looking for?
Basic Qualifications:
1. 3-7 years’ proven experience in Commodity Operations or a similar operational role. Ideally with oil, products and gas trading.
2. Master / bachelor’s degree in the field of Supply Chain, Logistics, Shipping, Maritime Operations or related.
3. Strong business acumen and a commercial bent of mind.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
5. Fluency in English. Additional language skills, particularly Spanish, would be preferred.
6. Analytically inclined with high energy, approaching challenges strategically.
7. Collaborative team player thriving in a team-based environment.
8. Effective relationship builder with a focus on business development.
9. Passionate about creating value in trading and financial markets.
10. Self-starter with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Effective planner and organizer, working towards ambitious targets.
12. Possesses deal lifecycle ownership, commercially astute for margin optimization.
