Tax Manager

The Tax Manager will work within the Group Tax team to provide tax services to the Spanish IAG entities and will be required to:
1. Provide tax advice on implications arising from commercial transactions including day-to-day transactions, restructuring transactions, and inorganic growth.
2. Manage ad hoc internal and external requests.
3. Ensure tax compliance for all taxes in Spain including reviewing all tax returns.
4. Review Pillar II calculations and compulsory disclosures.
5. Coordinate all available claims for tax deductions (RD or similar), when applicable.
6. Review tax account reconciliations.
7. Review tax disclosures in the group reporting package and local requirements (financial statements and/or similar).
8. Prepare budgets and reforecasts for Corporate Income Tax purposes.
9. Prepare risk heat maps and risk assessments.
10. Coordinate and manage internal and external tax audits in all relevant jurisdictions.
11. Coordinate tax proceedings in all relevant jurisdictions executing any action that might be needed.
12. Provide support to the Transfer Pricing team in connection with Transfer Pricing related topics.

Head of Spain Tax and other members of the Spanish tax team.

Tax team based in the Group business services centre in Krakow, Poland.

Tax authorities in all jurisdictions.
External advisers and service providers.
Required Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
1. Demonstrable experience (7 years or more) as a tax advisor.
2. A proactive approach to work in order to acquire knowledge and awareness of the business activities so that he/she can provide commercially focused tax support and tax assurance.
3. Degree in Spain Law and/or Economics/ADE.
4. Tax Masters.
5. Strong and demonstrable tax technical skills.
6. Solid accounting and finance knowledge.
7. Knowledge of SAP systems as a user will be valued.
8. Essential to be fluent in English.
9. Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
10. Excellent judgment and the ability to make decisions dynamically and assess acceptable levels of business risks.
11. Capable of making decisions in complex environments.
12. Strong communication skills.
13. Organization control of his/her work.
14. Ability to carry out and manage tax projects autonomously.
15. Stress resistance.
16. Accuracy in his/her work.
