The Company: A global solar manufacturer of smart, reliable solar tracking and solar racking systems for utilities, corporations, and small businesses.
The Role: As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the Solar energy business development and revenue growth in Spain and Europe. Wider duties and responsibilities include:
1. Able to independently develop new customers and grow the sales pipeline.
2. Manage key account customer relationships.
3. Develop a business strategy and grow the service business pipeline.
4. Partner with and lead internal function teams to close deals.
5. Facilitate commercial negotiations with customers.
6. Stay on top of the latest solar energy market and power market developments in the region, as well as competitive landscape changes.
The Person: Preferred 10+ years of Business Development and Sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in solar or wind energy. Rich network and customer resources in Spain. In-depth understanding of energy storage fundamentals and power markets in Spain and Europe. Commercially acute with a good understanding of contract terms and negotiation skills. Capable of setting up and leading a global sales team. Comfortable working independently and remotely from HQ teams. Able to travel >50% of the time.
