Touch in Touch is recruiting a Project Quality Engineer for a multinational leader company in the railway industry that provides highly engineered systems and services to virtually every major rail transit system around the world.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the project from the engineering phase to the final delivery to the client.
Main Responsibilities :
* Customer interface for Quality matters in development for the assigned projects in the Site, and in cooperation with other sites involved by the same project.
* Monitor and Control the conformity on Development processes, based on APQP requirements.
* Lead, Plan and Organize the First Article Inspection (FAI) in cooperation with all Project Core Team Members.
* Deploy and drive the Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) and define the requested quality requirements for the project.
* Manage the quality planning, quality reviews, quality performance and quality records of contracts in cooperation with the Project Manager and coordinate all project quality related activities with the various Quality line Functions like Systems Quality Assurance (SQA), Quality Product Engineer, Manufacturing Quality Engineer.
* Reject and if necessary block any non-conforming product or document from being released and manage the Quality records for the project.
* Define Prototype, pre-serial and serial control plan and update according to any change or quality issue.
* Ensure that Design Standards are respected and that critical characteristics are identified.
* Participate in Design Review including suppliers if necessary.
* Prepare PVC (Projects Validation Committee) ensuring readiness of all the deliverables required by the PVC and make sure that for each item requiring a decision from the PVC all the data needed are available.
* After design freeze, ensure procedure for change is respected with regards to product or process changes and ensure customer awareness and approval of changes in accordance with internal (ECR / ECO) or customer procedure.
* Update the quality documents following a product / process related change.
* Manage the issues with the use of correct systems (WIN, PMT OPIL, etc) and follow QRQC principles during all the phases of the project (design, prototype, production, field, warranty, etc).
Requirements :
* Engineer degree or similar. Other degrees will also be valued.
* At least 3-5 years of experience in Quality (Warranty, Production).
* Experience in Projects Management or Engineering is also a plus.
* High level of English.
* Availability to travel: Nationally (once per month).
Knowledge Required :
* APQP.
* Advanced Quality Tools (Control Plan, FMEA, MSA, 8D, FTA, QRQC, SPC).
* Advanced Quality Systems (ISO, OSHAS).
