We're actively seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in Madrid, with a hybrid work model. You will be part of the Research & Development team.
¿What would be your mission within this role? As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the Quality Assurance and Issue Management for embedded system products (eUICC) in R&D, working closely with development, support, and product teams to maintain high product quality and efficiently resolve issues.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
QA (Quality Assurance):
* Design, execute, and automate test cases to validate system functionality;
* Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using issue management tools;
* Ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features and system enhancements;
* Work closely with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve detected issues.
IM (Issue Management):
* Monitor, analyze, and prioritize reported issues from customers and internal teams;
* Coordinate with development, product, and support teams to ensure efficient issue resolution;
* Track issue trends, root causes, and provide insights to improve product stability;
* Establish metrics and reporting to optimize the issue management process.
Required knowledge:
* Skilled in Java programming.
* Skilled in Python development.
* Multilingual communication: Fluent in English and Spanish; knowledge of Chinese is highly valued.
* Familiarity with agile methodologies.
If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or related field.
* 2+ years of previous and proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
* Availability to Travel: Required (not frequent)
* Proficiency in Spanish and excellent written, reading and spoken english to communicate with our global team.
* A good level of Chinese is a plus.
* Strong analytical and teamwork skills.
