Are you a business development professional with a background in AI product selling that is looking for a new role in a high growth scaling San Sebastien based team?
At European Tech Recruit we are working alongside a high growth startup, helping them to bring on board a business development manager. The team is developing a compute platform for high performance computing with software utilizing real-time telemetry and intelligent algorithms to optimize performance, power efficiency, and scalability dynamically for HPC and AI workloads.
Responsibilities:
* Driving new sales growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
* Navigating complex organizational structures to identify key decision-makers, executive sponsors, and internal champions.
* Understanding customer business objectives and conducting a value-driven sales process.
* Collaborating with internal teams to advance deals and ensure long-term customer success.
* Consistently achieving ARR revenue targets and contributing to overall business success.
* Developing and implementing sales strategies to build a strong pipeline, drive opportunities, and ensure predictable, repeatable bookings.
* Providing valuable insights and feedback to corporate teams to refine business strategies.
* Creating data-driven ROI and business justification reports.
* Running structured POCs based on defined business success criteria.
* Staying up to date on industry trends and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Proven track record of sourcing and closing six- and seven-figure new logo deals within a designated territory (achieved sales targets of €6-10 million per year).
* Diverse network of C-level connections in energy, manufacturing, finance, industry, and cybersecurity.
* 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales with a $1M+ quota, demonstrating a top-performer track record.
* Experience building relationships and selling face-to-face with C-level executives.
* Familiarity with generative AI and large language models (LLMs).
* Experience selling technical SaaS and cloud-based software solutions.
* Previous collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales engineers, executives, and engineers.
* Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and using sales methodologies (preferred).
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
