About You
As the Logistics and Warehousing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the areas of warehouse operation and physical logistics in Southern European Region (SE). You will be supporting logistics operation control and project execution, working closely with Third-party logistics (3PL’s) and all areas in the SE region to deliver safety, service and cost.
Furthermore, considered as a Cost Transformation coordinator, you will be the link between UK, Northern Europe and Southern European Cost Transformation, driving best share practices across UK & Western Europe. You will support SE Logistics & Distribution organization in the journey to Standardization, Simplification & Collaboration, as well as supporting SE Logistics & Distribution Lead and Operation Manager on relevant projects in the region.
You will report to the Logistics & Distribution Manager Southern Europe and will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).
Location: the role is based at Salamanca Mill and we can offer a hybrid model (on remote / Salamanca Mill) for candidates already based in Spain.
YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Being the central Reporting coordinator for SE: main contact for Product Development and Progressive Control Pathway (PCP) management
2. Being the central point for local Quality Issues (product / transport)
3. Provide support when requested by the central logistics team (including Retailer Brand initiatives)
4. Being central point for local Business Analyst/ Commercial teams distribution cost change inputs (liaise with Controller, Supply Chain analyst and Customer Logistics Manager)
5. Inventory Control (stock evolution, analysis of stock movements, annual stock count coordination)
6. Being central point for Transport issues, Customer Logistics requests, maintenance and inspection activities, local Quality issues (product / transport)
7. Responsibility of legal documentation management
8. Responsibility of productivity and logistics KPI tracker, including cost control, and procedure control in logistics operation
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
9. Previous experience in Logistics operations or in Supply Chain
10. Strong experience in SAP system and Excel, with high analytical skills
11. Familiarity with customer knowledge, service and customer relationship
12. Fluent in English and Spanish; French preferred
