Specialty Area Sales Manager Power Tools – Portugal & Spain
Role Scope:
Distribution and direct key accounts management focused on developing the Power Tools business in Portugal and Spain through a dedicated sales channel strategy.
Oversee the commercial development of Power Tools products with direct customer accounts and distribution channels within the assigned geographical area, aligning with the annual objectives and policies set by the Business Unit.
As an Area Sales Manager, drive sales growth and business development activities with distributors, specialty channels, end users, and OEMs, with a primary focus on the Assembly and Ergonomic Handling Systems businesses.
Detailed Responsibility:
1. Achieve or exceed targets for bookings, revenue, and gross margin and to meet forecasts.
2. Conduct active field visits, demonstrations, and manage sales opportunities.
3. Identify and develop new Specialized Distributors and new Direct Customers in target vertical markets.
4. Provide commercial, technical, and application support to distributors and key end users.
5. Serve as the primary point of contact for direct customers, distributors, and internal teams, addressing all specific inquiries from various stakeholders.
6. Optimize territory coverage to maximize reach and impact.
7. Manage day-to-day business in an efficient and timely manner.
8. Monitor and report on business trends, product fit, and customer requirements.
Technical Skills / Work Experience:
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience and demonstrated success in a commercial role in industrial products.
2. Preferred degree in Technical- or in Business-related discipline.
3. Experienced and knowledgeable of power tools, with proficiency in software/hardware applications would be a plus.
4. Proficient in Microsoft 365 and CRM systems (Salesforce is a plus).
Personal Skills:
1. Strong team player, adept at collaborating with global cross-functional teams.
2. Fluent in both spoken and written Spanish and English.
3. Skilled in identifying opportunities, asking insightful questions, and understanding customers' needs beyond fixed products and solutions.
4. Comfortable with extensive travel, up to 75% of the time.
5. Exemplary written, verbal, and presentation skills.
6. Highly organized in managing time, territory, and associated administrative functions.
7. Ability to prioritize tasks and work the necessary hours to effectively fulfill job responsibilities.

Permanent contract
Full time: Monday to Friday: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 17:00 (flexible start/finish time) and Fridays from 8:00 to 14:30. Reduced hours also in summer according to calendar.
