The purpose of the role is to ensure Mobility suppliers are selected with the objective of delivering the agreed Mobility targets.
Direct accountability for the sourcing of Mobility suppliers and the end-to-end commercial performance of each supplier within the remit of responsibility. Direct reporting line management of a sourcing team and an integration (clients and suppliers) team.
Accountabilities:
* Responsible for the delivery of strategic contracts and ensuring commercial performance, resulting in the delivery of the forecasted OM.
* Accountable for a wider geographical remit (regional or global) and the delivery of all contracts within the area of accountability. Result in market-leading commercial agreements, alignment of Customer SLA’s, and overall supplier performance.
* Direct reporting line of a team of Contracting Managers and sourcing team, ensuring each team member has clear priorities and deliverables, resulting in all contracts meeting the HBX compliance and governance framework.
* Direct reporting line of the Integrations team, ensuring efficiency and compliance across the end-to-end process for both clients and suppliers.
* Accountability for the delivery of an integration pipeline, ensuring commercial prioritization to maximize commercial performance. (TTV & Margin)
* Overall accountability for the commercial performance of Mobility suppliers within the area of responsibility; delivery of a product range that is competitive within the market and delivers the agreed financial targets.
* Drive Results through forming win/win partnerships and provide clear vision and priorities to your team.
* Responsible for the sourcing of new Mobility products in line with the strategic vision of the business area, Mobility & Experiences.
Skills:
Contract Negotiation – solid experience and knowledge of contract negotiation including:
* Legal terms, liability, and indemnities, etc.
* Commercial Terms
* Customer Service Level Agreements for pre-and-post travel queries/complaints.
Supplier Management including performance indicators such as:
* Commercial – TTV & Margin, Competitiveness
* Technical Performance – API setup, error rates
* Quality Scores including Customer Complaint Ratio
* Conflict Management
Team Management
* Developing and coaching a team
* Managing teams
* Managing change within a business
Experience:
* Experience within the travel industry, hotels, car rental, transfers, and experiences.
* Manager-level experience – coaching and developing a team
* Change Ambassador – support different groups of stakeholders through change.
* Influence stakeholders – both internal and external.
