Emerson has an appealing opportunity for you – we are looking for a Digital Sales Representative to join our expanding team.
In this position, the candidate will engage with our customers through digital and remote sales tools to achieve the agreed sales targets.
The role will focus on actively promoting the transition towards digital integration, self-servicing, and digital interactions in cooperation with outside sales, digital marketing and other relevant collaborators.
As the main sales point of contact for the assigned customers, the Digital Sales Representative will provide pre- and post-sales support, drive the account strategy, build the relationship with the customer, track and understand customer needs and align Emerson’s offerings to address them, in collaboration with Emerson’s subject matter experts.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Responsible for the achievement of Sales, Bookings, and growth key performance indicators for the full Discrete Automation Portfolio within the agreed segment of customers through digital and remote interactions and implement immediate recovery actions if any risk is identified.
* Proactively work with customers to increase digital interactions, especially to actively move all accounts that may place unsolicited orders or RFQs into a digital self-service platform. Be fluent in the benefits of digital integration and articulate a clear action plan for implementation.
* Understand in full Discrete Automation’s unique selling propositions and actively contextualize them to the customer industry needs to improve business.
* Monitor digital tools for leads in the assigned country/region. Proactively act on leads to convert potential business in the assigned segments through digital tools and meetings or calls.
* Actively coordinate with colleagues and orchestrate the support of subject matter experts, Product Managers, or other company collaborators to create a compelling and differentiating value proposition for the selected customers.
* Perform effective online demos and/or trainings to targeted portfolio.
* Discuss and agree with sales management monthly action plans and maintain account plans with short-, medium- and long-term sales strategies.
* Ensure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company’s Trade Compliance procedures and bring up any concerns or questions through the appropriate channels.
* Inspire the sales teams and colleagues with a positive attitude and winning approach, follow the Business Ethics standards stipulated by Emerson.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* Diploma in a relevant Business or Engineering field (or recognized equivalent).
* Commercial awareness and knowledge of business processes, agile approach, ability to easily learn new tools/systems.
* A minimum of three years experience of working within a sales role, or in a customer service role.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and detail orientation.
* Ability to prioritize and work independently and be persistent in follow-through.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, strong presentation skills.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* Awareness of, or previous experience with ERP systems is a plus.
* Experience working in a matrix organization.
* Diploma in an engineering-related field will be considered an advantage.
* Portuguese proficiency or any other European Language would be appreciated.
