The MED Technical Sales & Project Solutions department is the unit of the Vestas Technology (Front-end Engineering & Technology), accountable for understanding market technical and operational requirements, to unlock customer value through timely deployed value engineered solutions, coordinating the Technical Support to Sales, Construction & Service teams in the Mediterranean markets, while securing Vestas quality and profitability of the region.
Responsibilities
1. Manage the technical support to MED Service Team for after sales activities and solutions in the MED region by ensuring:
1. Technical interface for customer, ensuring timely response to after sales inquiries (Repowering, Park Optimization, Wind turbine upgrades, Wind Turbine Life Extension).
2. Coordinate the different Vestas technical functions and Subject Matter Experts needed to support service sales team activities.
3. Manage technical contract review and risk management connected to After Sales activities.
4. Operational readiness of products and service deliveries.
5. Link regional specific regulations with product requirements.
Coordinate with Service organization and rest Technical Sales & Project Solutions the Technical Value Capture and commercial strategy linked to the Service Contracts and After Sales Solutions.
Understanding of the after sales market, customer’s business cases and service perspective in general.
Qualifications
1. Master's degree in Engineering field as Aeronautics, Electrical or Mechanical, combined with a Commercial/Business insight.
2. 5 years work experience in technical or operational role in Wind Industry or Energy sector.
3. More important than formal education is the willingness and motivation to learn. This is a role that requires technical, commercial, and policy knowledge.
4. Fluent in business English is a must, both spoken and written; Spanish and French will be an upside.

The Technical Service Specialist role is a highly diversified role that requires solid technical skills, a strong insight of operations and after-sales as well as a high degree of communication skills and coordination. The ideal candidate would possess the following competencies and personality:
