* Previous technical experience of 1 year in the energy sector is a plus. Not necessarily in Asset Management but also in related career paths, such as Monitoring and Performance Engineer, or Operation & Maintenance.
What you'll do:
As a Junior Engineer working at the Asset Management department your primary role will be to support the team in the management and technical supervision of all the renewable assets in the portfolio from the construction phase and throughout the useful life of the projects. You will be responsible for the daily monitoring of the sites’ performance, work closely with the EPC and Operations & Maintenance teams, and support in the daily commercial decisions of the assets.
Location : Madrid, Spain
Responsibilities :
* Continuous supervision of the plants: production, performance, guarantees, meteorological data, revenues.
* Follow up daily performance of the assets & analysis to maximise it.
* Negotiation of commercial settlements to contractual disputes. Management of EPC claims, negotiation with EPCs following commissioning. Management of insurance claims processing.
* Periodic reporting to the Owner on the progress and compliance with the Technical Contracts, containing all the operating data, O&M actions and performance analysis
* Direct contact with the O&M team to identify and solve efficiently technical issues.
* Project Management: supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance of LV, MV and substation.
* Contract management: O&M and non-essential services: communications, security, electricity, land, insurance, SCADA.
* Stakeholder management: Building and managing relationships with external stakeholder and key counterparties responsible for the operation of the projects across the portfolio with a view to achieving the best commercial outcomes for the equity investors.
Requirements :
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar discipline.
* Lenguages: Spanish + Competent in English (mostly for client interactions and reporting).
* Ability to act on their own initiative after receiving appropriate direction.
* Ability to produce high quality written report drafts.
* A good balance of commercial, business and technical skills.
