You will be part of the Product Management Team under the Chief Product Officer, where the team is responsible for guiding the success of the Ink product & service proposition. We define the strategy, roadmap, feature set, and holistic proposition - based on customer requirements - which will drive value for our clients and for Ink.
We are responsible for aligning the cross-functional teams, as well as prioritising and making the smart trade-offs necessary to deliver on our goals. We are responsible for analysing, measuring, fine-tuning, and iterating to ensure successful product outcomes for all stakeholders.
About Ink
Ink is an innovative IT company based in sunny Alicante, Spain. The company's diverse product portfolio delivers Passenger Service technology for the travel industry across three channels - Desktop, Mobile and Self Service - from our Cloud Platform. We provide mission-critical products and services to several international aviation clients and our systems have handled over 50 million passengers for over 100 airlines in airports all over the world. Our team thrives on the adrenaline of competing against billion-dollar companies using our ingenuity and relying on our desire to out-innovate them. Come join us on that journey.
Job Responsibilities
1. Engaging with existing client airlines (of all models; ULCC, LCC, Hybrid, Regional, FSC, Charter), airports and ground handlers, as well as prospective client organisations to understand their requirements and aspirations for DCS, LC and broader delivery systems within their technology ecosystems - essentially product ownership from the client perspective.
2. Understanding the function/feature gap between Ink's current proposition (LCC & Regional focus) and a future product portfolio which would appeal to all airline business models and for airports and handling agents alike, and defining which requirements we must develop and innovate on to most logically and cost effectively close that gap.
3. Thinking about Delivery Management Systems (DMS) through a new lens; focused on driving costs down, productivity up, and harvesting additional revenues for our clients (mindful of how legacy delivery processes have worked or not worked historically).
4. Maintain a deep and current knowledge of client marketplaces and the competitive theatre in which we must participate, with a view to driving value from best practice and differentiation.
