You, as our FP&A Analyst
Job Summary
A challenging and demanding role the Global Financial Planning & Analysis team of a large multinational, offering multiple development opportunities in areas such as financial analysis, benchmarking, intercompany pricing, management reporting and budget planning. This is a key role in an international team, requiring a high level of flexibility in a dynamic working environment. We are looking for a FP&A Analyst with great analytical and technical skills. The successful candidate will undertake a broad range of financial tasks including reporting and analysis activities for Swissport’s Head Quarter functions, as well as projects. She/he will be directly engaged with finance and business leadership to develop insights that inform and drive decision making.
Job Responsibilities
* Ensure efficient & accurate reporting & planning activities (e.g. Budget and Forecast)
* Coordinate monthly closing for Corporate Services including monthly reviews
* Analyze and present data in a concise manner to Swissport’s leadership team
* Contribute to the strategic direction of the business by providing insightful analysis to explain trends within month end reporting, budget and forecasts
* Work proactively to identify and drive opportunities to achieve goals, as well as identify process improvements or automation
* Partner with and maintain professional relationship with key stakeholders in order to successfully achieve above objectives
* Prepare business presentations for stakeholders including investors and lenders
* Assist with ad hoc projects and financial analysis, working alongside the Head of FP&A and the HQ controller
* Act as the main point of contact for any topics related to inter company pricing between different Swissport entities
Qualifications and Competencies
* Educated to degree level or equivalent: Professional accountancy qualification/Accounting or Finance degree or MBA
* At least 2 years of FP&A experience
* Strong modelling skills (Advanced Excel knowledge required; Data Analytics and working knowledge of visualization platforms such as PowerBI is an advantage)
* Knowledge of OneStream and SAP or similar planning and reporting tools is an advantage
* Advanced in Microsoft Office 365
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to think independently using data, draw conclusions and communicate in an effective manner with senior leadership
* Ability to meet deadlines and deliver under time pressure
* Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels and across cultures
* Fluent in English
