European firm in the organizational consulting space with over offices worldwide is looking to hire a Principal for the international markets. This role aims to position candidates on the path to becoming partners of the firm after their results are proven. The candidate will work closely with other Consultants and the Partners.
Ideal Profile:
1. 4 years of experience in full-cycle sales: Identifying, engaging, nurturing, and managing a strong client pipeline.
2. At least 4 years of sales experience in complex solutions and high added value professional services (Consulting, Advisory, Digital, etc.).
3. Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish; any additional language would be appreciated, especially German, French, or Chinese.
Education:
1. Bachelor's or master's degree in business/economics or related subject.
Desired Skills:
1. High level of initiative, gregariousness, ability to handle high-pressure environments, and results orientation.
2. Prior founder experience as an entrepreneur (or similar) is a big plus.
Responsibilities:
1. Achieve individual goals by winning and delivering retained executive search assignments.
2. Proactively establish and foster business relationships with senior executives through various means (Trade Fairs, Chamber events, Online communication, Personal meetings, Trips, etc.).
3. Generate a pipeline of client meetings resulting in pitch opportunities.
4. Actively seek to grow the business by partnering with new clients.
5. Listen to clients and understand their precise demands.
6. Accurately write engagement letters and proposals.
7. Lead the search using internal (database) and external (internet/network-based) methods, including active headhunting.
8. Conduct detailed candidate interviews to understand experience, skills, motivation, and phenotype.
9. Effectively present search updates and candidate profiles to clients.
10. Work with internal teams to ensure paperwork, administration, and invoicing are handled.
11. Hit sales targets in terms of fulfilled business (revenue).
Objectives:
1. Reach an invoicing (excl. VAT and project costs) of 60k EUR per third (equivalent to a minimum of 180k EUR per year on initiation).
2. Deliver projects effectively and maintain acquired clients.
Conditions:
1. Total (variable fixed) compensation will be around 30% of total sales brought to the firm.
2. Fixed salary to support covering personal expenses.
3. Non-compete clause.
4. Office material will be covered by the firm.
5. Sales support executive providing help to the sales team.
