Description : MediaMonks is looking for an Account Director to oversee the client, the account and the local team for an iconic technology brand, and ensure all campaigns and workstreams fit within the overall business goals and marketing strategy. Your well-rounded experience in the trenches allows you to quote, scope, upsell and set up new projects comfortably across several complexity levels, whilst coaching makers and producers. You are focused on future proofing and team optimisation, and you fully own the team's progress and the account & performance.
Responsibilities :
* Key point of contact for multiple client teams: you understand business KPIs and drive meetings, overall communications, and strong client relationships.
* Fully responsible for the overall client satisfaction of your local market. You are the second and penultimate point of contact for client escalations.
* Build close-knit and trusted working relationships with clients, external agencies and internal teams, both within your local market and across production hubs.
* Confidently thinking three steps ahead, you steer clients, local creatives and producers, whilst optimising resourcing and maximising profits.
* Oversee project scopes, media and project plans. You have final sign-off on project scopes, quotes and timelines prior to sharing with the client.
* Responsible for great communication between producers, clients, agencies and production hubs. You are the second point of contact for internal escalations.
* Own the mentoring, supporting and training for producers on your team.
* Own project post-mortems, both internally and externally, evaluating the good, the bad and the ugly of finished projects.
* In charge of invoicing hygiene across your portfolio of projects. You manage POs and ensure vendors get paid in a timely fashion.
* Interview new producers and account managers, ensuring they display a strong skillset and are the right cultural fit for the team.
* Support your Program Lead with flagging risks and losses proactively and come up with a plan to stabilise the revenue.
* Once a new job is awarded, you help turn pitches into projects, liaising between our creatives and makers throughout the process.
* 8+ years of experience in coordinating accounts and project teams for large multinational brands in creative production or agencies.
* Managing demanding clients and high complexity situations come naturally to you. You can untangle any type of chaos or meagre briefing through your composure and experience, internally or externally, whilst keeping your cool.
* Well versed in managing and growing client relationships within the automotive industry.
* Clear understanding of the full integrated production lifecycle and the difference between Creative, Social, Adaptation and Always-On workstreams.
* Able to seamlessly safeguard quality, scope, timelines and budgets. You have a track record of accurate and profitable estimates, and steer producers with great care, organization and confidence.
* Experience working with media agencies, local clearance bodies, Legal, QA and Finance teams. Experienced at conflict resolution.
