Data Analyst (F/M/X):
Main responsibilities of the position:
* Analyse and evaluate the health and condition of aeronautical engines within the fleets of different operators, both civil and military, supported by the analysis of flight data.
* Apply data science to contribute to the prediction of failures, optimization of maintenance and logistics, and improvement in the operational availability of the engines of the different fleets.
* Manage both civilian and military customers around the world.
* Support the troubleshooting of engine problems through the analysis of flight data.
* Perform specific reports at the customer's request on a problem affecting the customer's fleet, or participate in global department fleet reports.
* Create the necessary report templates to present the data to the client in a comprehensive manner tailored to their needs.
* Support developers in creating automatic flight data analysis tools and testing and securing the functionality of those tools.
* Keep department documentation up to date.
What profile are we looking for?
Education: Aeronautical Engineer
Knowledge required:
* Knowledge of aeronautical engines and propulsion systems (gas turbines, jet engines, etc.).
* Knowledge of aircraft monitoring systems (e.g., ACMS, Health Monitoring Systems).
* Knowledge of databases and analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Mongo).
Experience required:
* 2-3 years of experience as a data analyst or aero engine maintenance engineer desirable, working with engine data monitoring and analysis systems.
* Experience working in both military and civilian operating environments, with knowledge of the different requirements and regulations that apply to both sectors.
* Experience with fleet management systems and predictive maintenance of aeronautical engines.
* Experience with analysis and programming tools such as Python is desirable.
* Experience in predictive analytics, machine learning, and optimization techniques applied to aviation.
Languages: Fluency in English
