Research Area: Smart 4D Biodegradable Metallic Shape-shifting Implants for Dynamic Tissue Restoration
Minimum Qualifications:
* Minimum B.S. in Materials Science / Materials Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields.
* Strong academic credentials.
* Post-doctoral candidates are encouraged to apply.
* Proficiency in English (both oral and written), knowledge of Spanish not required.
* Experience in 4D printing or additive manufacturing, materials characterization, cell culture, or bioreactor design preferred.
Job Description:
* Conduct in vitro characterization of materials and devices.
* Collaborate on additional project tasks such as material degradation studies, in situ device characterization, and bioreactor development.
* Liaise with collaborators on in vivo studies.
* Engage in communication and dissemination activities, emphasizing Open Science.
* Assist in report preparation for funding agency.
