Role Purpose:
The IT Project Manager for GCO (Global Clinical Operations) will be responsible for:
* Managing the design, deployment and delivery of low priority projects (determined by budget, timeline and stakeholder) or project work streams providing IT solutions that meet business requirements.
* Contributing to maintaining control of progress, quality, and budget to meet the desired business objectives.
* Ensuring all project deliverables meet quality and compliance standards, including thorough documentation with timely reviews and approvals.
* Ensuring a smooth transition to operations and the optimal planning and execution of all activities associated with a release.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Managing the delivery of internal and outsourced projects from project initiation to transition to operations.
* Monitoring and controlling project execution, establishing project governance, managing scope, risks and issues.
* Ensuring effective use of resources and project management methods, tools and practices. Delivering projects on time and within budget to meet the desired business objectives.
* Providing transparent and accurate project reporting including overall performance of the project and project documentation completion.
* Owning project status, issues and risks through appropriate channels/tools and ensuring that these are reported back to agreed project governance (e.g., Steering Committee) with focus on required actions, ownership, and risk management.
* Accountable to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope.
* Collaborating effectively with other teams, DDIT Functions and Domains in the organization, as well as strategic suppliers providing services to the project.

Role Requirements:
Education & Qualifications:
* University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, business or similar OR relevant experience.
* Certified in PMP or Agile/Scrum or PRINCE 2 is preferred.
Experience:
* 8+ years of experience in Project Management.
* Prior experience in delivering GxP solutions within GDD Clinical IT landscape is desirable.
* Knowledge of clinical development operations systems, processes and tools is desirable.
* Ability to work and collaborate in matrixed teams to deliver projects with interdependencies like integration components.
* Experience using various project management methodologies including Agile.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Capability to help the Program lead/portfolio lead to structure plan, estimate, deliver, deploy and operate the project as required.
* Ideally this would include experience of these areas in regulated environments, because of the high impact of quality and controls in the Pharmaceutical industry.
