The PhD project will focus on the optimal design and control of the heat-driven cooling system developed in the CharCool project. The main aim of the research activity will be to define all possible configurations for system integration, including techno-economic assessment.
Energy storage is a major challenge, closely related to energy sobriety and sustainable development. In addition to the storage of primary or slightly transformed energy, the storage of the degraded form of energy, i.e., heat, is of prime interest.
Highly recommend undergraduates or master students, PhD and Faculties applying for the China Link scholarship program with our group. We have several positions to support you in working with us. If you are interested in additive manufacturing, composites, ceramics, mechanics, functional materials, please apply.
