Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a German-speaking Business Development Representative to join our expanding team in Barcelona. This is a hybrid/onsite role where you will work from our Barcelona office while also having the option to work remotely within Barcelona. You will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, and helping them solve their business challenges with our technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting: Reach out to potential clients in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) via cold calls, emails, and digital channels. Identify decision-makers, qualify leads, and generate new business opportunities.
2. Consultative Selling: Use a consultative sales approach to engage with prospects, uncover their business needs, and align our technology solutions to address those needs.
3. Building Relationships: Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders at potential client companies, engaging with C-level executives and decision-makers.
4. Market & Competitor Research: Stay informed about the latest trends in the German-speaking market and technology industry.
5. Collaborating with Sales Teams: Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Account Management teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
6. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, sales-qualified opportunities (SQOs), and revenue growth.
7. CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
8. Client Feedback & Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from prospects and clients about their experience with the sales process.
9. Ongoing Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions to deepen your understanding of our technology solutions and sales methodologies.
Requirements:
1. Language Proficiency: Native or near-native German (C2 level) and fluent English (C1/C2 level).
2. Sales Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably in the tech or SaaS industry.
3. Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Consultative Approach: Strong ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
5. Goal-Oriented & Results-Driven: Motivated to meet and exceed sales targets.
6. Tech-Savvy & Digital Mindset: Understanding of digital marketing concepts, SaaS, and technology products.
