We are looking for a District Area Manager with a strong results- and people-oriented approach to lead the operational and strategic management of multiple retail stores within an assigned region. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience managing over €5 million in annual revenue and leading teams of more than 100 people, along with a valid driver’s license for travel between store locations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Commercial Management
* Ensure the achievement of sales and profitability targets across all stores in the region.
* Implement strategies to improve conversion rates, average ticket value, and other key retail KPIs.
* Supervise and optimize operational processes to ensure efficiency and excellence in customer service.
* Oversee the execution of commercial campaigns and promotional activities.
Leadership & Team Management
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of store managers and employees.
* Foster a positive work environment, ensuring employee engagement and talent retention.
* Develop training and career development plans to enhance team performance.
* Ensure compliance with HR policies, work schedules, and labor regulations.
Financial & KPI Management
* Monitor and optimize operational budgets, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
* Analyze sales reports, profit margins, and other indicators to make strategic decisions.
* Identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement within the store network.
Compliance & Customer Experience
* Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and local compliance requirements.
* Guarantee an excellent customer experience in every store.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing retail operations with an annual turnover of over €5 million and leading teams of more than 100 people.
* Strong knowledge of key retail KPIs: sales, conversion rates, UPT, ATV, shrinkage, productivity, etc.
* Experience in operational optimization, budget control, and cost reduction.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
* Valid driver’s license and availability to travel between store locations.
* Proficiency in business management tools and retail software.
