Mission:
The Product Owner CBO is responsible to lead and manage the Commercial Back Office Product, involving high volume transactional systems, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget compliant delivery. Oversee development teams, including internal developers in Europe and external resources and/or partners. Balance Agile and Waterfall methodologies to maintain high software quality and performance. Manage product road map and project delivery, risks, and budgets while adapting to a fast-paced environment. Managing the different stakeholders between EMEA and Americas, ensuring effective communication and alignment. Foster innovation, continuous improvement, and proactive problem-solving within the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead complex Commercial Back Office Product, involving high-volume transactional systems, ensuring delivery within scope, time and budget.
- Act as a bridge between development teams, designers, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on user needs and business goals.
- Implement and manage agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) to optimize development work flows.
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and roadblocks that could impact product delivery.
- Ensure projects remain within scope, on schedule, and aligned with company objectives.
- Define and track key product performance metrics, using data-driven insights to improve user experience and adoption.
- Manage internal and external capacities to develop the UX/UI teams to enhance usability and overall app performance.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with industry best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in mobile and web app development environments.
- Solid understanding of user experience (UX), customer feedback loops, and product analytics.
- Fluent in Business English.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience of the tooling and transportation industry.
- Relevant certifications (CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager) are a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern software architectures.
