What's the Challenge?
As a GNSS Project Manager, you will lead teams responsible for achieving project objectives. You will manage and direct all activities associated with one or more projects, depending on your demonstrated experience and ability. Reporting hierarchically to the Head of Division, you will ensure the fulfillment of project requirements and objectives, as well as quality and environmental standards.
Your contributions will include:
* Ensure the fulfillment of project contract requirements and achievement of project objectives.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable quality and environmental requirements.
* Gather and report process indicator metrics applicable to the project.
* Keep the Head of Division informed of relevant project matters.
* Manage project elements, including schedule, cost, resources, and risks.
* Tailor both traditional and agile tools, techniques, and methods for each project.
* Develop and implement project delivery strategies that maximize business value.
What we're looking for:
Technical skills:
* Proficiency in software applications for managing information and project schedules (MS-Office tools, MS-Project, MS-Word, MS-Excel, JIRA, Redmine).
* Knowledge of project management methodologies (Earned Value Management, estimation methods such as Delphi, wide-band Delphi, COCOMO, Analogy).
Additional valued skills include:
* Experience in GNSS Systems, particularly Galileo.
* Knowledge of Systems/HW/Software development standards for Space, Aerospace, and/or Defence (GSWS, ECSS E/Q series, DO178, DO254).
* Experience in Agile Methodologies, particularly SAFe.
* Experience with Requirements Management tools and related processes.
Educational background:
* University degree in an engineering, technical, or scientific discipline, or equivalent qualifications.
* PMI Project Management Professional or equivalent certification will be an asset.
Professional experience:
* Minimum of three years in a position of responsibility (management of teams within projects), ideally in the GNSS domain.
Language skills:
* Fluency in oral and written English.
