Senior Manager, Compliance - Iberia
As Senior Manager, Compliance, you will report to the Compliance Officer, Southern Europe and support the activities of the senior leadership team within their Region in implementing a risk-based compliance program, specifically in Spain & Portugal.
What you will do:
* Support the Compliance Officer, Southern Europe with overseeing the Ethics and Compliance program for Spain & Portugal.
* Implement the Ethics and Compliance program components within Spain & Portugal to support the Compliance Officer in empowering business leadership and effectively manage risk for the company.
* Execute programs which ensure organizational compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards across regions.
* Support the development and execution of effective ethics and compliance controls, including written standards, education and communication, auditing and monitoring, third-party oversight, and corrective action.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the compliance program and to reflect changes, clarifications, or updates in applicable law, regulations, policy, and business strategy.
* Maintain knowledge of the businesses and their operations; use knowledge of business and compliance metrics to inform the strategy and goals.
* Recommend improvements to increase efficiency, simplicity, and speed of action.
* Support Compliance Committees and Ethics and Compliance leadership in reporting on the status of compliance program on a regular basis.
* Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
* Raise awareness of the compliance program and promote accountability for ethics and integrity.
* Foster a continuous improvement mindset and propose enhancements to the Program informed by industry trends and best practices.
What You Need:
Required:
* B.A. or B.S from accredited university.
* Fluent English & Spanish.
* Minimum of 8+ years of work experience.
* Demonstrates knowledge of the required elements of effective ethics and compliance programs and experience with MedTech Europe code and other relevant standards.
* Possesses excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
* Demonstrates high level of professionalism, business acumen, and judgment and the ability to effectively influence without authority.
* Demonstrates ability to drive work and projects of significant impact to the organization.
* Initiates, embraces, and supports change in a dynamic and complex environment.
* Demonstrate an ability to execute tasks and projects with limited oversight and a reasonable ability to operate independently.
