Key responsibilities:Brand Development and Relationship Management. Manage and nurture relationships with external stakeholders (incl. journalists, media outlets, event organizers, industry professionals, and partners) to support Football Benchmark marketing and communication objectives.Editorial Strategy and Execution. Develop and implement an editorial plan that aligns with the firm’s strategic objectives, including the production of thought leadership reports, newsletters, and social media content. He/she shall supervise cooperation with subcontractors (e.g. graphic designers, journalist, proofreader). The candidate shall ensure all content meets the highest standards in terms of accuracy, style, and tone, maintaining the brand’s authority in the market. He/she shall also monitor and analyse content performance metrics to optimize reach and engagement.Content Production and Management. Write and edit articles, reports, and social media posts, demonstrating a strong understanding of the football industry. The candidate will be supported in this endeavour by internal teams to gather data and relevant insights. Qualifications skills:Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A background in sports management or economics is a plus.Strong knowledge and passion for the football industry, including its business and operational dynamics. This expertise shall enable the candidate to regularly write industry-specific content pieces.Proven track record in content development, communications, or public relations, ideally in the sports or football industry.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute editorial plans and strategies.Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with excellent proficiency in business English.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media, email marketing, analytics tools).Outstanding organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently under time pressure.
