We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to oversee our key accounts in Spain and Portugal. This person will successfully manage existing key accounts and target some new key accounts within the agreed budget and defined strategy. This position is based at our plant in Igualada, Spain. Area: Spain and Portugal.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Able to make a 3-5 year key account plan covering all aspects of a strategic business development plan.
2. Lead key growth initiatives for these specific accounts while establishing internally an organization that contributes to the growth and reflects the need of the customer.
3. Develop and commercialize solutions that create superior financial returns and meet the changing needs of the marketplace and/or the key account.
4. Identify and develop potential new customers and ideas to the key account in all areas of business (innovation, cost saving, process optimization).
5. Coordinate new profitable growth programs to drive successful business performance.
6. Consolidate and increase GPI’s portfolio at key accounts.
7. Able to create new key accounts.
8. Establish long term relationships and contracts between GPI and the customer.
Qualifications:
1. At least 3-5 years of experience in account management working with Blue Chip organizations.
2. Experience in B2B packaging or similar manufacturing environment.
3. Technical mindset with manufacturing equipment desirable.
4. A good command of English will be required.
5. Good technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
6. Able to communicate with confidence and knowledge on GPI products, machinery and service.
7. Excellent attention to detail and disciplined project management skills.
8. Exceptional customer communication and presentation skills.
