The Account Manager for Leica Biosystems is responsible for generating revenue and market share for LBS products and services from customers in a defined territory of responsibility. Actively manage existing LBS Accounts to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and maximize sales potential across the targeted portfolio.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Acquire and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of current product lines (AS/CH/DP) and applications.
* Proactively work with all LBS stakeholders to develop a sales plan for each account.
* Visit all accounts to make contact in your new position.
* Acquire support for colleagues who may have previously managed your accounts.
* Provide support for colleagues taking over any previous accounts.
* Provide comprehensive monthly reports about key activities and market progression.
Travel: Must be able to travel approximately 50% of the time primarily within the region (Castille Y Leon, Castille La Mancha, Extremadura, Canarias); this will vary depending on requirements. Overnight travel may be required.
The essential requirements of the job include:
* Experience in sales, preferably in a biomedical industry.
It would be a plus:
* Previous experience in the Diagnostics industry and Medical tender process experience.
