Job Description:
A. Summary
End-to-end responsible for ensuring that all In-Service Quality Escapes reported by customers are properly investigated, root cause of the issue is identified and corrected to avoid that defect from happening again in future aircraft deliveries of M&L, MRTT, and A400M Programs:
* Responsible for identifying and investigating the quality escapes detected In-Service to ensure actions are managed by the responsible functions & suppliers to provide preventive and corrective actions.
* Leader of three multicultural and cross-divisional MFTs (Multi-functional teams), guiding several disciplines towards a quick and effective investigation to solve the Customer’s Quality issues reported In-Service.
* Responsible for a subcontracted package to support the ISQI Process.
* Accountable for answering the Customer queries received In-Service related to Quality (AMTAC’s Back-office for Quality topics).
B. Main Activities
The main activities are the following, applicable for A400M, MRTT, and M&L Programs:
* Lead the full ISQI process, including improvements and awareness.
* Analyze the SRs, received daily from Customers, to determine if they were originated by a quality escape from Airbus or its suppliers and therefore if an investigation (ISQI) is needed.
* Distribute the ISQI to the responsible functions or suppliers to request an investigation of the root cause and implement containment and corrective actions.
* Chair three (3) multi-functional and multi-cultural ISQI Committees: ISQIs follow-up and coordination, QCM Network organizations support.
* Lead the response to the Customer in due time, involving different functions and organizations and identifying any deviation or difficulty for which support is needed (AMTAC’s Back-office for Quality topics).
* Subcontractor management: purchase orders, budget allocation, invoicing monitoring.
* Quality Performance Indicators (KPI) definition, monitoring, and reporting.
C. Key Accountabilities
* The jobholder is responsible for analyzing the Service Request (SRs) received daily from the Customers to identify potential quality escapes of Airbus or its suppliers and to open In-Service Quality Issues (ISQIs) to identify the root cause and to launch containment and corrective actions.
* The jobholder ensures the end-to-end of the ISQI investigation and resolution on any affected aircraft (both production and in-service), of any manufacturing or services quality issue reported by Customers.
* In addition, the jobholder has full accountability for the response to the Customer Queries received In-Service and related to Quality (AMTAC’s Back-office for Quality topics).
D. Key Deliverables
* ISQI Process deliverables (ISQI Dossiers, Templates, and investigations)
* ISQI MFT Management
* ISQI Process/Procedure revisions management.
* ISQI Process Performance KPIs.
* SR (CRM Service Request) answer to customers.
Qualifications:
* Educated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
* More than 5 years of experience in Quality functions.
* Knowledge of ISQI process.
* Advanced level in English.
* German or French would be an asset.
