As part of PPE – Intelligent Transport & Automotive, which is an organization within Vodafone Business, you will work on exciting projects and will become part of innovative initiatives from Vodafone.

This role will cover the Full Stack Developer position of STEP (Safer Transport for Europe Platform). STEP is the Vodafone cooperative mobility solution that helps road users and road operators to make mobility safer, more secure, and accessible. STEP is an innovative IoT project within Connectivity and Solutions. We support Vodafone Business to become a leading provider of IoT end-to-end solutions globally.
We are looking for a team player, open-minded person who likes to discuss technical challenges and is not afraid to push the boundaries of technology. As Specialist Software Developer Lead (Frontend), your daily activities will involve the following responsibilities :
* Technical expert for all operational, development, and deployment tasks (including quality and architecture improvement).
* Able to resolve complex operational issues, performance management, and related problems in multiple technical domains.
* Spotting dependencies between cross-functional teams.
* Contribute to the design of technical solutions based on proposed architecture.
* Review code from other developers and ensure code quality through clean code practices and other agreed team practices and principles.
What you bring:
* Experience working with TypeScript (abstractions, advanced types, utility types).
* Experience working with React + Next.
* Experience working with Material UI.
* Experience working with PostgreSQL (and general SQL scripts).
* Experience using Git as a version control system.
* Experience using Contentful as a content management system.
* Design of REST architecture and implementation of RESTful APIs.
* Support the timely delivery of technical solutions by writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
* Innovator and constantly seek to improve.
* Creative thinking, positive attitude, and innovative ideas.
