We’re expanding our team at Alén Space and are looking for a Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Engineer with passion in what you do, talented and experienced. You will be responsible for the management of Alén Space's facilities and infrastructure, as well as the necessary equipment and its maintenance.
What you will be doing?
1. Identify and implement improvements in facility management through continuous interaction with users.
2. Train users on the facilities and their equipment.
3. Manage the equipment associated with each facility.
4. Supervise the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
5. Resolve issues related to facilities and coordinate with relevant suppliers.
6. Gather requirements and plan new facility installations.
7. Collaborate with architectural firms on the design and execution of facility projects.
8. Develop and maintain facility management and maintenance plans.
What do we need in our team?
1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
2. 2 years of experience in equipment and/or facility maintenance roles.
3. B2 level in English.
4. Strong communication skills and ability to interact with suppliers.
5. Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
6. Planning and resource management abilities.
7. Residency in the Vigo area or southern Pontevedra.
Candidate qualifications and skills
1. Work remotely 20% of the time.
