We are currently looking for a Chargeback & Acquiring Operations Specialist.
What will you be doing?
* Educate Business Policy Decisions: Provide insights to support business decisions related to chargebacks, helping to implement and manage workflows for alternate dispute resolution tactics such as order validation, chargeback alerts, and Rapid Dispute Resolution (RDR).
* Investigate & Resolve Disputes: Analyze customer complaints to determine whether they can be resolved without becoming chargebacks. Manage and resolve disputes by utilizing various tools and strategies.
* Prepare Evidence & Fight Chargebacks: Identify the reasons for chargebacks, especially those arising from fraud, and determine whether to contest them. Collect and compile supporting documents to dispute invalid chargeback claims, submitting them as part of the chargeback response.
* Monitor & Evaluate Chargeback Activity: Track and analyze chargeback data to identify trends and potential risks. Collaborate with the chargeback management team and other departments to implement changes aimed at reducing chargeback ratios.
* Maintain Compliance with Card Brand Regulations: Stay updated on changes to card network rules and ensure ongoing compliance with Visa and MasterCard regulations. Provide recommendations to ensure the business remains compliant with evolving standards.
* Provide Training and Guidance: Serve as a subject matter expert on chargebacks, offering training and guidance to team members. Propose updates to customer policies or procedures to mitigate chargeback risks effectively.
* Scheme Regulation Updates: Keep informed about the latest updates from Visa and MasterCard, ensuring compliance with their regulations.
* Daily Support Tasks: Assist with daily tasks, including registration, settings updates, and coordination with schemes to ensure seamless operations.
* Issuer Relationship Management: Maintain and manage relationships with issuers, serving as the primary point of contact.
* Scheme Onboarding Tasks: Facilitate the onboarding process for new schemes, ensuring all requirements and protocols are met.
Minimum Requirements:
* Proven experience in handling chargebacks and familiarity with acquiring operations.
* Strong understanding of Visa and MasterCard regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Strong relationship management skills.
* Knowledge of PCI standards is a plus.
* Detail-oriented and proactive in staying updated with industry changes.
