For the role of Specialist Payroll & HR Services we are looking for candidates with a broad range of skills.
Role purpose:
Provides centralized human resource services spanning payroll, benefits, and other transactions.
Manages Payroll and ensures excellent process execution & compliance with Spanish law. Performs tasks using HR systems and follows processes to provide clear HR support to VOIS employees.
Ensures accuracy of all Payroll data provided to stakeholders and represents the local market in group projects and leads local system changes and implementations.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Work closely with service providers and internal teams in the monthly payroll processing. Support the preparation of employees’ compensation by the end of each month using payroll software, and process taxes and payment of employee benefits. Handle on-site tasks and documentation as necessary. Resolve payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries.
• Executes HR processes and activities for example Payroll Reporting, HR audits and inspection requests, etc, and ensures HR process compliance with Spanish law.
• Provides consistent advice to resolve queries accurately and timely, adheres to defined administration processes and ensures Payroll database is updated correctly.
• Lead local HR Services projects & group activities including system implementations, systems testing and change. Process improvement projects and suggests modifications in policies.
• Drive improvement of services KPIs, and employee adoption of HR channels.
• May provide informal guidance to junior staff and co-ordinate the work of others.
What you bring:
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
1. Excellent understanding of HR procedures and concepts through acquired experience.
2. Strong math & analytical skills with an ability to spot numerical errors.
3. Must be able to handle complex issues in a professional, confidential, and sensitive manner.
4. Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment, and to communicate effectively in Spanish and English.
5. Project Management experience is a plus.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
6. University degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or relevant field.
7. 5+ year’s Payroll/HR experience at a multinational company.
8. Working experience of SAP Success Factors, Analytical Skills and advanced Excel.
9. Advanced level of English
