A leading company in the sector, headquartered in central Barcelona and specializing in the trade of fresh fruits across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, is seeking a Logistics and Administration Coordinator with fluent Spanish and English.
Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics Operations:
* Organize bookings for maritime and land transport (particularly for Ukraine and Moldavia).
* Monitor container tracking daily, identifying delays and implementing solutions.
* Prepare and organize shipping documents (pre-alert emails and original documents via courier).
* Assist clients with documentation modifications or special requirements.
* Ensure the timely control of payments and container release.
* Negotiate freight rates and transport costs with suppliers.
* Review invoices and payments to logistics providers.
* Negotiate, track, and recover rebates with shipping lines or freight forwarders.
* Update logistics systems.
* Handle claims and formal complaints with shipping companies when necessary.
1. Administrative Management:
* Oversee credit coverage limits for clients and ensure compliance.
* Declare monthly sales to credit insurance company.
* Monitor and manage credit insurance claims or unpaid invoices.
* Support commercial teams with administrative or logistical needs.
* Coordinate and organize trade fair participation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Experience: At least 2 years in logistics, supply chain, or administrative roles, preferably in international trade.
2. Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English (written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus.
3. Availability: Immediate.
4. Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible).
5. Salary: To be determined based on experience and qualifications.
